History of SonicHANDY Mobile Phone Manager

SonicHANDY project started in the year 2002 under the name MOB.Quicky, as a DOS application. It was intended primarily for Siemens mobile phones of the time to ease the task of writing text messages, because it was difficult to type on clumsy rubber keypads. In 2004, program was converted for Windows, but still running in a console window. In 2006, MOB.Quicky was renamed to SonicHANDY, and the last console version was released, v6.9.1. During the year 2008 SonicHANDY got completely reworked, and built as a standard Windows application with continuing development.
