SonicHANDY errors explanation


ERROR: Could not open port!Program could not open the port given. Port must exist on the system and must not be open by other application. Check if you provided the right name for the valid port.
ERROR: Device not connected!Program tried to communicate with the device, but there was no response. Check if you have provided the correct port and correct port speed. Check the cable connection, or check for device proximity if you are using a wireless link. Consider switching Cable Compatibility Mode feature on.
ERROR: Could not initialize port!Program could not set up the parameters of the port. Check if you provided the right name for the valid port.
ERROR: PDU mode not supported!There was some response from the device, but the PDU set command was not accepted. In most cases, this means that you have selected a port with a device other than your phone connected, for example a modem.
ERROR: Could not create directoryProgram could not create the directory given. Check that you have sufficient rights to create this directory, and that it is not write-protected. If you provided a drive letter, check if this drive exists.
ERROR: Error reading from device!While reading some essential data from a device, the data appeared invalid. Retry the operation. If it persists, there is some disagreement between the device and the program. Program may be outdated, or the device doesn't follow standards.
ERROR: I/O Error!Unexpected error in communication channel appeared while reading or writing the device. Check the cable connection, or check for device proximity if you are using a wireless link.
ERROR: Could not find a device!Program could not find a valid mobile device connected to a system. Check the cable connection, or check for device proximity if you are using a wireless link. Check if you have provided the correct port speed. Consider switching Cable Compatibility Mode feature on.
